I do have a newer version of MySQL (5.1.30) available on another host
and I can confirm that everything works as expected using the newer version.

unfortunately this adds a layer of complexity to using bacula on solaris
that i'm not looking forward to. Does anyone know if using bacula
compiled against mysql 4.0 is going to cause any issues when connecting
to a database running version 5.0 or newer?
