I could use a feature like this. One of our servers is hosted in a data
center, and we do backups by uploading data to storage provided by the
data center provider. That storage is in turn backed up by them and
taken off site, and is really only for 'total loss' recovery.

Currently I just back up to disk and then upload the most recent backup
file to the data center storage, but being able to back up directly via
FTP would be nifty.
