[Bacula-users] LabelFormat question
2009-02-13 04:52:36
Hello,
I am using Bacula to backup 3 servers and store the backup files on the hard
disk, each in different directories by setting up 3 different Devices and using
one single Pool.
Now I have noticed that the filename is not exactly as I wish it to be: I am
using the following LabelFormat in my Pool:
LabelFormat = "backup-${Job}-${NumVols}"
with the idea in mind to have a filename with the job name (this would be the
server name) and then the volume number for that server, but unfortunately the
volume number is global (for all 3 servers). So should I actually define one
Pool per server, or is there an easier way to do it ?
Also if I used:
LabelFormat = "backup-${Job}-"
would the volume number be added automatically as epxlained in
http://www.bacula.org/fr/dev-manual/Basic_Volume_Management.html#SECTION006131200000000000000
?
Thank you very much for the help
Regards
