Yes, in the log file. But the backup ends with 

Termination:            Backup OK


My point is, if the error could lead to serious data loss as you
described in your first mail. And bacula knows about that error, why
not send an email to the contact that is defined in the messages
resource for MailOnError and point out the problem in the final job
output?

Right now it was just luck that I found the problem.
