The file backups work fine but I am havign problems backing up to a tape drive.
Every time I try to run a test, it hangs on

Starting backup job Group Tape job ..

Automatically selected Catalog: MyCatalog
Using Catalog "MyCatalog"
A job name must be specified.
The defined Job resources are:

    10: Group Tape job
Select Job resource (1-10): 10
Run Backup job
JobName:  Group Tape job
Level:    Full
Client:   group-fd
FileSet: Group server files - test data only
Pool: Tape Backups Pool - weekly (From Job resource)
Storage: Tape Backups (From Job resource)
When:     2008-12-15 17:14:23
Priority: 10
OK to run? (yes/mod/no):

.. the backup job is now running. When complete, the results will be shown
below ..

15-Dec 17:14 bacula-dir JobId 96: Start Backup JobId 96,
Job=Group_Tape_job.2008-12-15_17.14.30
15-Dec 17:15 bacula-dir JobId 96: Using Device "Sony_SDX-400V"
15-Dec 17:16 bacula-sd JobId 96: Please mount Volume "TapeVol-0001" or label a
new one for:
    Job:          Group_Tape_job.2008-12-15_17.14.30
    Storage:      "Sony_SDX-400V" (/dev/nst0)
    Pool: Tape Backups Pool - weekly
    Media type:   8mmAIT-1

 and there it sits. If I go to the status screen, I get a "is waiting for a
mount request" (I'm using webmin) on teh tape.

If I use the bacula bat tool to status the drive, I get this output:

status storage=Tape Backups
Storage resource "Tape": not found

If I close then run "/etc/rc.d/init.d/bacula-sd stop" and then run:

btape -c bacula-sd.conf /dev/nst0

I get this:

Tape block granularity is 1024 bytes.
btape: butil.c:285 Using device: "/dev/nst0" for writing.
btape: btape.c:372 open device "Sony_SDX-400V" (/dev/nst0): OK
*test

=== Write, rewind, and re-read test ===

I'm going to write 1000 records and an EOF
then write 1000 records and an EOF, then rewind,
and re-read the data to verify that it is correct.

This is an *essential* feature ...blah, blah, blah until the test completes
sucessfully.

The setup files are shown below:

bacula-dir.conf
-------------------

Storage {
  Name = "Tape Backups"
  Password = nunya

  Pool Type = Backup
  Maximum Volume Jobs = 12

}

Job {

  Type = Backup
  Level = Full
  Client = group-fd
  FileSet = "Group server files - test data only"
  Schedule = WeeklyCycle
  Storage = "Tape Backups"
  Pool = "Tape Backups Pool - weekly"
  Messages = Standard
}

bacula-sd.conf
--------------------

Device {
  Name = Sony_SDX-400V
  Media Type = 8mmAIT-1
  Archive Device = /dev/nst0
#  Archive Device = /dev/st0

#  Changer Device  = /dev/changer
#  Changer Command = "/home/bacula/etc/bacula/scripts/mtx-changer %c %o %S %a

  LabelMedia = yes
}

Does anyone have any idea what's wrong?

Thanks!
