Hello,
I need to upgrade an older version of Bacula to the latest release. I'm currently running Bacula version 1.36.3 with MySql Server version 4.1.12-MAX on Fedora Core 3.
1. Can I directly upgrade to the latest version or will I need to do incremental upgrades?
2. Is there doc on how to upgrade?
3. Will I need to upgrade my version of Fedora or MySql?
4. This is a production box. Is there a way to backup my current working version of Bacula and easily put it back in place if I have a problem with the upgrade?
5. Will I be able to still access my old backups if I need to do a restore on the new version of Bacula.
I did not do the original install of Bacula on this machine. I am also not a expert when it comes to Linux or MySql. So any help is appreciated.
Thanks Corey
