It comes up periodically.  It happens to me.  And your are right, 
unloading and reloading usually fixes it.  I have not tried just using 
update slots.  The next time it happens, I will try that first.  I just 
installed 2.4.2 yesterday, and removed all my tweaking, so I can see 
if/how 2.4.2 behavior changes.  I was using 2.4.1.

But it would be nice to know why bacula does not like the volume when 
this happens, even if it is not a bug in bacula.
