Hi,

whenever a new job starts it demands to label a new tape, even if I labeled
one yesterday which it also used yesterday. When I try to mount the tape of
yesterday it tells me that there is no appendable tape. Why doesn't bacula
use the tape from yesterday, yes it's in the right pool?

The other question is why does bacula don't use one of the 20 tapes marked as
recycle in the scratch pool?

I tried to label the tapes with btape, but when I start btape it doesn't react
on my commands. Do I have to kill all bacula processes before using btape or
can I use btape in a productive environment (Well I know it's really
critical, but the risk is ok).

Stephan

P.S. I'm using bacula 2.4.2
