James,
I believe I have found part of the issue.  I found that we had created a "Recovery Storage Group" which caused us not to be able to perform the backup.  Currently there is nothing under the "Recovery Storage Group".  Once I deleted that "Recovery Storage Group" I was able to complete the Backup of the environment just fine.  So after I create a backup I then attempted to restore.  So I created the "Recovery Storage Group" again.  Then I tried to restore the " /Microsoft Information Store/First Storage Group" (also tried restoring the mailbox itself).  I restored that to the "Recovery Storage Group".  In order to do that I started the restore (via command line) and then modified the restore with option 9 (where) and put in "/Recovery Storage Group" as the value.  This failed for the restore.  I have attempted a few other patterns which have all seemed to fail as well.  I have tried the restore and dropping the Prefix and the changing the Where.  Let me know if you have any easy steps to restore as well as any thoughts on the "Recovery Storage Group" causing the Backups to Fail.
          Thanks for the help,
                   Javier

I have been testing out the Exchange Agent for Bacula from:

The client seems to connect just fine, but I seem to get the errors

below

every time. We are testing with an Exchange 2003 SP2 server and using
Bacula 2.2.8 on the server side. We have installed the agent as noted

in

the instructions with the agent. We installed the Agent version:
bacula_exchange_agent_1.0.7.msi

As you can see below we seem to get the "HrESEBackupSetup" error

message.

I have seen at least one other reference to this error with the Bacula
agent for Exchange, but I did not see any resolution for it. Does any

one

have any suggestions to solve or debug this issue?

I'm yet to put some better error reporting in the agent.

According to the docs, 3355320133 (0xC7FE1F45) means 'Instance not
found'. Can you send me your bacula fileset config for the exchange
backup?

Thanks

James
