Folks,
I have been testing bacula for couple of weeks and today I found out that on
one of the days last week it did full backup instead of incremental backup. The
e-mail does not say that the incremental was upgraded to full.
Here is the directory listing of the backup files:
# ls -lh
total 25G
-rw-r----- 1 root root 14G 2008-05-13 10:04 Full-lidp10-05-13-2008-06:37:48
-rw-r----- 1 root root 17M 2008-05-13 23:36 Incr-lidp10-05-13-2008-23:33:33
-rw-r----- 1 root root 17M 2008-05-14 23:34 Incr-lidp10-05-14-2008-23:33:11
-rw-r----- 1 root root 17M 2008-05-15 23:35 Incr-lidp10-05-15-2008-23:33:19
-rw-r----- 1 root root 218M 2008-05-16 23:36 Incr-lidp10-05-16-2008-23:33:18
-rw-r----- 1 root root 273M 2008-05-17 22:13 Incr-lidp10-05-17-2008-22:09:54
-rw-r----- 1 root root 12G 2008-05-19 02:46 Incr-lidp10-05-18-2008-23:36:06
-rw-r----- 1 root root 17M 2008-05-20 22:06 Incr-lidp10-05-20-2008-22:04:09
As you can see it did full on 13th and incremental on 14,15,16, and 17, but on
18th it did full backup again (12GB).
Here is the e-mail:

When I looked at the list of files that were backed up, I found that it had
backed up files as old as from 2000. These files were already backed up on a
full backup.
On that day (18th) it did full backup for only 8 out of 25 clients that I am
backing up. In all the e-mails it does not say that incremental backup was
upgraded to full backup.
What could be wrong?
