I would probably suggest making another partition anyway. A GParted CD
could probably be used to resize one of your partitions to make room for
one that you could test with. Using a special partition that may already
exist may not work exactly like a normal partition might (and mounting
other disk partitions, I suspect, is what most people are doing with
reparse points). Vista itself might be able to resize partitions too --
I seem to remember hearing some rumblings.
