Hello Peter!
Try checking out the log file, usually in /var/bacula/log . (see the correct path on your bacula-dir.conf file).
You can also type "mes" on Bacula´s console, redirecting the output to a file.
Exemple:
#./bconsole
<them, at Bacula´s console, type>
@output /etc/bacula/logfile.log
mes
Them, check the file you created.
That´s it!
Best regards.

Subject: [Bacula-users] Understanding why a job failed with status code E
Hi
I get a job status E (Terminated in error) on a BackupCatalog job.
How can I find out why this jobs got an error. Is there a more detailed
report available than that what I get when doing "list jobs", i.e. a
detailed report on a given job ?
Thanks
Peter
