[Bacula-users] difference between amount of jobfiles (tree build, list j

Hi,

after the recent discussion on the list about the time bacula needs to build
the directory tree for a restore with many files, I tried it with one of my
backups.

bacula needs ~1 minute to build the tree. Good.

If I look at the joblist, I see 4 jobs with ~2,150,000 files. But at the end
bacula inserted 1,979,891 into the tree.


estimate also shows ~2,150,000 files for a full backup right now.

I see the same for the diff and inc jobs. The inserted files are always
different to the number of files that are returned with 'list jobs'.


What could be the reason for the negative difference between the jobfiles and
the number of files that gets inserted during the tree build? I would expect at
least a number of files in same range of the full backup.
