Hi,

I'm facing the following problem:

One Win2k3 client with 3 different jobs. Since neither the network link
nor the cpu and io on the client machine are saturated I wanted to run
this three jobs concurrently. This would effectively triple the backup
speed.

This works, the director reports all three jobs running as the the fd
on the client machine does.

The problem is, only the first job transfers data, the two other jobs
are just sitting around, doing nothing (at least nothing obvious). So I
wonder if this is intended behaviour or a misconfiguration/bug.

I tested with both 2.0.3 and 2.2.8 windows clients backing up to 2.0.3
FreeBSD director/storage daemon. I tested with VSS turned of also.

Actually with this behaviour the "Maximum Concurrent Jobs" directives
in the "FileDaemon" resource of the client file daemon and the "Client"
resource of the director does not make much sense. If I configure 3
concurrent jobs on a client I would expect them all to transfer data.

If anyone has a clue what's going on I would appreciate any feedback.
I would also be grateful if someone could hint me how to achieve what
I intended by other means.

Thanks
Attila
