If I may, look for a client with Windows VSS support. You backup
the entire MS Exchange DB and Log file without having to run a MSBackup. The
only issue will be the Exchange Log files which can be overcome using circular
logging in Exchange.
I have tested it and it works.

Subject: Re: [Bacula-users] Ang. Bacula CentOS 5 Install
Hi Roger,
I have a system running CentOS 5.1 and a windows 2003 server VM in VMware... I
am looking for a way to backup MS exchange using Bacula. It might be a case of
running MSBackup to a smb share on the Linux server and then backup the backup
file to a tape. However I did read some where that bacula will work with
exchange.
I will most likely need the newest windows client, will I also need the newest
version of bacula on the server for it to work? Or will the new client
work with the old server?
Thanks
Keith

Keith,
I've done it
quite are few times on Fedora and CentOS 5. What do you want to know? You can
install bacula with yum if you want but you need to use the Extras
respositories.
But sadly you
can only get version 2.0.3-10.el5 of bacula there.
CentOS/RHEL Extras repository info - http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/EPEL/FAQ#howtouse
# rpm -Uvh http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/epel/5/i386/epel-release-5-2.noarch.rpm
# yum search
bacula

Hi Guys,
I know there are RPM's for Bacula, however are there any guides for
installing on Centos / RHEL using the RPMs?
Regards
