Hello again,
I've migrated the database & bacula configs... I can connect to the clients.
But, when I backup using the new server, bacula upgrades everything to "full". odd... When I use the restore option I get the following error :
Select the Client (1-8): 6 Automatically selected FileSet: france +-------+-------+----------+----------------+---------------------+--------------------+ | jobid | level | jobfiles | jobbytes | starttime | volumename | +-------+-------+----------+----------------+---------------------+--------------------+ | 880 | F | 818,758 | 86,134,612,817 | 2008-04-06 00:41:17 | FullPoolFrance0102 | | 885 | I | 122 | 88,142,395 | 2008-04-07 02:32:16 | IncrPoolFrance0030 | +-------+-------+----------+----------------+---------------------+--------------------+ You have selected the following JobIds: 880,885
Building directory tree for JobId 880 ... Building directory tree for JobId 885 ... There were no files inserted into the tree, so file selection is not possible. Most likely your retention policy pruned the files
Do you want to restore all the files? (yes|no):
Seems like the database dump/load lost something. The only thing I changed was the dns to the server. If I try restoring from the old server, the tree is built.
Any help ?

Sounds like what I did moving bacula on mysql from one box to another. I ran in parallel for a while just to make sure things worked ok. Oh, and I have a DNS alias for the clients from my original installation, so my client *.conf files didn't have to change.
