we will keep our dear users up to date ;)

Whoever is interested in development is urged to move to devel list and IRC.
We will be quite busy, but people is always welcome.

After the dust settle we will start making announcements which, at least for the
first time, will be echoed also here.
At that point we will be using mainly github facilities for development, while 
this list
will be retained for user help and communications of general interest.
