Hi,

I am replicating through drbd (which is in some way a RAID1 over network).
My BackupPC Storage is nearly 2TB in size and the connection is only around
50Mbit/sec.
Drbd is doing block based so the initial transfer was done through a fast link
and then placed on off-site.
To prevent special failures (like an accidentially rm / -rf) drbd is put on top
of an LVM so I am creating snapshots regulary.
No issues so far and as the remote server ist configured with backuppc, too I
can essily restore even the primary Backuppc.
