Thanks for that. Now I can see what happened. I ran out of space to
complete the backup :( Not great but not much I can do about it right
now apart from buying a larger drive. It's a shame though that backuppc
can't report that it ran out of space. Once the job completes it
deletes the new directory and thus frees up the space again, so it's
hard to determine that space was the issue.
