These are values that are supposed to come from your hosts file and
get initialized as globals before you hit this code. Is something
wrong with /etc/BackupPC/hosts? If not, try 'rpm -V BackupPC' to see
if any of the package files have changed.
=========================

This BPC-server only backs up two particular Windows servers, and both are
listed properly in /etc/BackupPC/hosts AFAICT;

host dhcp user moreUsers # <--- do not edit this line
server1 0       backuppcserver4 0       backuppc

[root@anakem18 BackupPC]# rpm -V BackupPC
S.5...GT.  c /etc/BackupPC/config.pl
SM5...GT.  c /etc/BackupPC/hosts
S.5....T.  c /etc/httpd/conf.d/BackupPC.conf
S.5....T.    /usr/share/BackupPC/lib/BackupPC/CGI/HostInfo.pm
....LU...    /var/lib/BackupPC
.M....G..    /var/lib/BackupPC/cpool
.M....G..    /var/lib/BackupPC/pc
......G..    /var/lib/BackupPC/pool
......G..    /var/lib/BackupPC/trash
[root@anakem18 BackupPC]#

Man rpm gives the below.

       S file Size differs
       M Mode differs (includes permissions and file type)
       5 MD5 sum differs
       D Device major/minor number mismatch
       L readLink(2) path mismatch
       U User ownership differs
       G Group ownership differs
       T mTime differs
       P caPabilities differ

Who's supposed to own /etc/BackupPC/hosts (or even the entire contents of
/etc/BackupPC)?
