[BackupPC-users] After OS Upgrade -- NT_STATUS_ACCESS

I just upgraded my server from Ubuntu 11.10 to Ubuntu 12.04 and now BackupPC is failing on all hosts with:

Backup failed on canton (NT_STATUS_ACCESS_DENIED listing \\*)

smbtree -b -N shows:

        \\CANTON                        Client desk

                \\CANTON\Printer                Microsoft XPS Document Writer

                \\CANTON\C$                     Default share

                \\CANTON\ADMIN$                 Remote Admin

                \\CANTON\Printer2               Brother HL-5250DN series

                \\CANTON\SharedDocs

                \\CANTON\print$                 Printer Drivers

                \\CANTON\D$                     Default share

                \\CANTON\IPC$                   Remote IPC

Anyone know what trivial / stupid thing I've missed?
