Sorry, Tim. This question does get asked about once a month. As a I
said, it's an irrelevant statistic. It doesn't exist.

If you want to provide simple feedback to the clients on usage, I
suggest something simple like summing the total data transfered from the
last Full and Incremental, then perhaps dividing it by the known
compression/pooling ratio. For me, that's about 1:9.

Running a lot of du's is going to take a long time anyway, for any large
pool.

hi guys, sorry i know there is nothing more frustrating than the same question that keeps on popping up - I have been watching this list for the last 6 months and checked archives but could not find anything that clearly answered my question.

gregwm - that sounds fine, i know the match will not be spot on, just a reasonable idea is needed
Tyler - that sounds like a good idea, if I add the data in the "Compression Summary" i get the approx same as du, so that looks like a good plan.
