I been using backuppc sucessfully to backup 4 linux machines and 2 windows
machines

the windows macjhines are 1 winxp and 1 win2000

the win2000 machine hard disk failed

now i reinstalled windows and tried to restore the last backup but it
gives me the following message

Running: /usr/bin/smbclient \\\\172.16.2.232\\f -U backupuser -E -N -d 1
-c tarmode\ full -Tx -
Running: /usr/share/BackupPC/bin/BackupPC_tarCreate -h winserver2 -n 73 -s
f -t /
Xfer PIDs are now 22711,22712
Domain=[BALADIA] OS=[Windows 5.0] Server=[Windows 2000 LAN Manager]
tarmode is now full, system, hidden, noreset, verbose
restore directory \
This backup will fail because: abandoning restore

the f drive is a shared drive and the user backupuser has full rights to
the directory

since its a new hard disk i cre4ated a directory and shared it as F drive
