[BackupPC-users] No Confiiguration possible via Web-GUI
2008-06-13 19:19:05
Hello,
while changing our backup-system to BackupPC I had to reinstall BackupPC
once and tweaked the setting files in the /etc/backuppc directory, now I
can't edit my configuration file using the WebGUI.
I made a test and installed BackupPC on a freshly Ubuntu Server
Installation and the options were availabe.
Question:
What settings or better permissions do I need in order to able to edit
my CLIENT.pl files using the Web-Front/Backend?
- Apache is normally running as www-data
- I have added the BackupPC user to the www-data group
- permissions in /etc/backuppc:
-rw-rw-rw- 1 backuppc www-data 1477 2008-06-10 11:40 CLIENT.pl
- my /etc/backuppc/config.pl contains:
# User can edit their Configfile
$Conf{CgiUserConfigEditEnable} = 1;
$Conf{CgiAdminUserGroup} = '';
$Conf{CgiAdminUsers} = 'backuppc';
Unfortunately I still have no configuration options available when
logging in as user backuppc - what am I missing?
best regards
= Kurt
