Hi all,

I would like to know if it's possible to use BackupPC over SSH with
public/private key with a passphrase (and add this passphrase to the line
command of BackupPC) ?
I read a tutorial without passphrase but I don't now if it's possible with
it.

If it's possible, can you explain me how do that ?

Thanks in advance.
Regards,

Romain

Backuppc has it's own alias concept if you don't mind making each user
look like a separate machine. Make a fake host name in the backuppc
host file with the user as the owner, give them a copy of the public ssh
key and tell them to set $Conf{ClientNameAlias} to the real machine name
while they are setting up a backup method and target that makes them happy.
