Thanks, I was just thinking of doing that. Unfortunately the OpenBSD
machines were not all alike (ah, such is life) and were of various OS and
Amanda versions. 

We have also decided to not go beyond 2.5.2 on some of our machines that
are traped in "history land". As that version supports all of the
functionality we need (bsdtcp auth, and restore compatibility with our 2.6.1
server). I am presently trying to get that working on one of the OpenBSD 2.5
machines, but that isn't going all that well either. None of our OpenBSD
machines that we are replacing had a version of Amanda that new, so just
copying binaries over from one of the not yet updated machines doesn't make
too much sense. What a frustrating week this has been!!
