hi guys, i've run into this problem before and it went away for a while, now 
its back. no clue why.

as you can see from the email report, amanda writes a small amount of data, and 
skips on to the next tape:

Please find below a link to a tar file with my amanda.conf, the taper logs from 
this run and also my changer.conf

We increased the initial_poll_delay to 60 and poll_drive_ready to 25 when this 
happend previously and it seemed to fix the problem ,we  managed to do a 12tb 
run without any problems (we have a lot of data to back up ;)) - So we thought 
we had fix it - obviously not.. We have amanda filling 400gb on a holding disk 
before it writes to tape - this seemed to help previously too - but now it isnt 
working.. the DLE has about 600 entries (its around a 3tb run) - thep reviously 
12tb dump has over 1000 and didnt run into any problems.
