Amdump returns almost instantly

The report email starts with

These dumps were to tape DailySet1-00070.
The next tape Amanda expects to use is: DailySet1-00001.
The next new tape already labelled is: DailySet1-00017.

FAILURE AND STRANGE DUMP SUMMARY:
  cuttingroom  /dev/sda1  lev 0  FAILED [missing result for /dev/sda1 in
cuttingroom response]
