I added 2 new clients to a working amanda system. Both of these clients
are Ubuntu Edgy machines running Amanda 2.5.2p1. The Amanda server(Amanda 
2.5.2p1) is Ubuntu Fiesty & 50+ clients of various OSes/versions
of Amanda which work. The error reported on the edgy machines from running 
amcheck DailyDump is:

NOTE: info file /opt/amanda/var/DailyDump/curinfo/plabws/_dev_sda1/info
does not exist
NOTE: it will be created on the next run.
NOTE: info file /opt/amanda/var/DailyDump/curinfo/pmonitor/_dev_sda1/info
does not exist
NOTE: it will be created on the next run.

Same error occurs on the next run. Any ideas?

The version of tar running on the working feisty machine is
1.16-2ubuntu0.1 GNU tar

The version of tar running on the problem edgy clients is 
1.15.91-2ubuntu0.4 GNU tar
