Hi Guys,settape x:/backup/amanda/dumps/tape01 

Thank You for replying this mail. Well actually i'm a bit confused with the
way the amanda recovers the data.

Is it true that the host in the command "settape
<host>:file:/backup/amanda/dumps/tape01" refers to the amanda tape server?
