Is anyone else backuping up an amanda cygwin client, where the cygwin

I have cygwin clients but on the same side of the firewall.

Anyway, the configuration:

amanda server -> firewall -> cygwin amanda client

is the same as

amanda server -> firewall -> linux amanda client

What cygwin does is run your programs as if you have a linux box. And linux boxes on the other side of the firewall I have.

Firewall rules, for amanda, refer to tcp and udp - no matter if you have a linux box client or a cygwin one.

I need to ask a few questions on your firewall settings.
So ask, let's see if I can help... ;-)

Bye!

Robert
