Hi List

I am a bit concerned as for a few days I have had to run amflush after
amdump has complained as per error below:

This particular server siis on the other side of the fw fence thus not
in my LAN I had increased the timeouts on the firewall but I am again
getting problems.

Amanda Admin Report

These dumps were to tape SMTLSet105.
*** A TAPE ERROR OCCURRED: [[writing file: No space left on device]].

This is probably the root the problem: your tape is full (or broken).

Some dumps may have been left in the holding disk.
Run amflush to flush them to tape.
The next tape Amanda expects to use is: SMTLSet106.

/-- server / lev 0 FAILED ["data write: Connection reset by peer"]

Is this backup bypassing the holdingdisk?
And was it interrupted by the tape full error above?

I checked the servers /tmp/amanda directory and less the debuy file But
I see nothing there to alarm me!..

The error occured on the server, not on the client.
See file amdump.XX on the server.
