I don't know of an amanda tool for doing so.

However, the index files and the dump files
should have a 1:1 correspondence, a separate
index file for each dump you deleted.  So you
could locate the index for each dump you
deleted and delete it also.  Or reversing
the logic, pair up what you retained with its
index and delete the other indexes.

BTW amanda will still think the dumps are there
as that info comes from the log files.  When you
overwrite the vtapes that will change.
