I believe it does, but I also beieve that entry s/b in the 
~/.amandahosts file, where the ~ is the amanda users homedir, in my 
case /home/amanda/.amandahosts

People having trouble with vz bouncing email to me should add the word
'online' between the 'verizon', and the dot which bypasses vz's
stupid bounce rules.  I do use spamassassin too. :-)
