We use virtual tapes on a RAID array - not really any way I can
physically change the tapes.
Virtual tapes with chg-disk are only supported with 2.4.3-something.
But you can use virtual tapes with chg-multi.
And support for a changer in amrecover was added in 2.4.3-something too.
Upgrade will help yes.
I figured I'd probably need to upgrade the client tools on those boxes
- they're running Debian woody, so, yea, prehistoric!
