Amanda uses /etc/(v)fstab to map devices to directories and vice versa.
Is there some mapping there that results in /wwwwhome being mapped to /afs?

Hi Paul,

thanks a lot for your quick reply.

Okay:

our fstab looks like this:

/dev/sd0a / ffs rw 1 1
/dev/wd0a /usr ffs rw 1 1
/dev/sd0b none swap sw 0 0
kernfs /kern kernfs rw
procfs /proc procfs rw,noauto
132.195.104.174:/raid/home/home /common/home nfs ro 0 0
/dev/nnpfs0 /afs nnpfs rw 1 1
/dev/sd1a /ama_hold ffs rw 1 1
/dev/wd0b /wwwhome ffs rw 1 1

If I remove the /afs line or put it to the end, it works!!!

Isn't that strange ;-)

Happy backup'ing

  Torsten
