IIRC you can't do a second open for read of a file already opened.
I'm guessing that it depends on how the first application does its
opening, exclusive or ???  But there seem to be a lot of files on
my PC systems that can't be backed up for this reason.  Some of
the files are things that seem to be opened when the system boots
and stay open.  I think those never get to amanda.
