RE: Wait for dumping

A check of the log shows that the taper is complaining that a new tape
isn't in the rack! But there are plenty of tapes (30)...

Subject: Wait for dumping
I have a new server I've added to my disklist.
Unlike the other servers, each of the DLEs waits for dumping.
The system is RH EL 4.
amanda rpms on the client:
amanda-client-2.4.4p3-1
amanda-2.4.4p3-1
on the amanda server:
identical to the above (just checked to make sure)
/etc/xinetd.d/amanda is correct; I've added an entry
for /etc/xinet.d./amandaidx, which wasn't there. (I've seen
instructions that assert this must be present on the client--is this
so?).
netstat -ul | grep amanda shows the correct thing
What do I need to do to debug this?
