Hi,
Does anyone have any experience with Tandberg 1U StorageLoaderTM DLT VS160 controlled from a Linux box running Amanda?
My problem is getting the changer to work properly. Unfortunately it does not support sequential or cycle mode. I tried mtx but it doesn't work properly - it's unable to determine where it should put the tapes back to coming from the drive. I want to user Amandas changer support and i've tried chg-zd-mtx but it fails on reset: 1 Drive not ready after 120 seconds, rewind said "/dev/sg1: Operation not permitted" 

Any ideas/suggestions?
