fedora core 2 also has amanda in it. Fc3 probably the same.

There is only one source tarball, and it can be configured and built as
client, server, or both. Some Linux distributions have prebuilt packages,
and depending on the package maintainer there may or may not be seperate
packages for each. Debian, for example, has a client package a server
package, and a 'common' package that is needed for either of the others.
Before you download and install Amanda, you should read the documentaion
online and see how well it fits your needs.
