I will look through the docs ASAP to see if this explanation really is
completely missing and correct it. It's good to point me at those
issues as it is sometimes hard to "forget what you know" when it comes
to writing docs. Over the years one gets so used to some of the
concepts that one gets a bit blind sometimes ...
