Yeah actually I mistyped "dev" as "dew" just on the email. I used "mt -f /dev/st0 rewind" on the command shell. But still, it is not working and I am not able to figure out what the problem is.

OK

so what do you have in /dev ? you might have to manually do the mknod in order to create the device path.
