Correct me if I'm
wrong but I thought that if the backup has failed from the night before and
I then run:
amcleanup
<config>
amflush
<config>
and then kill off
all the remaining processes from ps -ef |grep amanda
then I run
the command amstatus <config>, it should just bring back the just the
prompt. Instead this shows dumpers busy. Why is this? surely the backup should
not be busy if I've run an amflush on it and cleaned up. It should now show
nothing and sit and wait to the next nights backup run
Attached is an
output of the amstatus command once I've run the cleanup and
flush...
Thanks for any help
- Ranveer
