Indeed it does. It sets the temp directory to ~/amanda/tmp. During the
build, I see a line about the debug directory also being set there, but I
can't find the assignment in the ebuild.
And it creates the amanda user with a shell of /bin/false (so su amanda
doesn't work). And a few other interesting things. We're working on it...
It'd probably be easier to do a fresh install of debian :-(
