yes ...
Don't use localhost ANYWHERE in your AMANDA-stuff ... it bites you, as
you see now.
Use real hostnames, please. (FQDN = fully qualified domain names)
And second:
You seem to run AMANDA as root - no good.
configure --with-user=amanda, for example.
(And, if you compile again, compile 2.4.4p2, not necessary, but
recommended ...)
