For a quick answer, check the archives on yahoo or marc.theaimsgroup.com
Appropriate xinetd.conf entries have been posted quite a few times.

It may also be in the Faq-O-Matic at amanda.org.  If not, maybe someone
who uses xinet could add a Q&A for "how should xinetd.conf be setup?".
