Ive just setup amanda to backup 4 servers
2 sun and 2 linux servers
after config'ing everything to spec and running amcheck
every thing is hunkydorey.
until I run amdump and get the following in the dump log
from the two linux boxes (one is the localhost)....
planner: time 0.037: no feature set from host localhost
error result for host localhost disk /var: missing estimate
error result for host localhost disk /home: missing estimate
error result for host localhost disk /: missing estimate
error result for host localhost disk /usr: missing estimate
ive searched high and low for a clue here, but to no avail.
the two linux boxes are near enougth identical (running redhat 7.0
using xinetd) and every else is setup as with the sun servers.
has anyone had this problem before ?
