I'm stumped....

When I run amcheck I get:

I have added amanda to the disk group on both server and client. 
Both sides have respective .amandahosts entries as outlined @ Frankenlinux  
And I changed the group on the /dev files (../ide/* & ../hde1) to disk.

Any help much appreciated!!
