Yep, that's right.  The recovery time would be less than the backup time 
if you multiple images.

Also keep in mind that an Ultrium 2 drive is significantly faster than 
your DLT, even taking into account the increased capacity.  According to 
the docs I've found quickly googling, the Ultrium can write a whole tape 
in 1.6 hours, while it'll take the DLT 3.4 hours.
