are you using tar to do your archiving, or dump? if you are using tar,
then i have seen that the "/" filesystem does not have a /etc/fstab
entry in RH starting right around 7.[12], which means that tar has no
concept of what to archive (i am fairly sure that amanda uses the local
fstab to translate a filesystem path for disk devices when it is using
tar). i got around this by simply using "/" as the filesystem in the
amanda disklist entry, as opposed to the disk device (/dev/sd07 in your
case).
